On 23 June 2024, Fisheries Administration issued a press release on the discovery of Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphin in Cambodia’s sea at the intersection of Kampong Som and Koh Rong road on their official social media site.
According to the press, after seeing the publication of Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphin in the Cambodian Sea at the intersection of Kampong Som and Koh Rong road with unidentified sources, the Fisheries Administration has informed the public that there are Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins in Cambodia’s sea that swim in flocks with other species of sea dolphins.
